Marshmallow Root Extract Liquid is a water-soluble botanical cosmetic ingredient supplied as a convenient ready-to-formulate liquid. It is suitable for a range of skincare and haircare formulations, including toners, mists, serums, essences, creams, lotions, masks and rinse-off haircare products.
Its liquid, water-soluble format makes it straightforward to incorporate into the aqueous phase of cosmetic formulations, including cold-process products and the cool-down stage of heated emulsions.

Common Applications & Recommended Usage
The overall recommended formulation usage level is 2–6%
Toner/Mist: 2-3%
Serum/Essence: 3-4%
Cream/Lotion/Mask: 3- 6%
Haircare/ Rinse-off: 2-5%
Formulation Guidance
Typical use level: 2–6%
Solubility: Fully soluble in water and miscible with glycerin and propanediol.
Suitable phase: Aqueous phase.
Cold process: Can be added directly under gentle stirring.
Hot process: Add below 45°C. For heated emulsions, addition to the aqueous phase during the cool-down stage is recommended.
Temperature limitation: Do not heat above 60°C. Exposure above this temperature may degrade polysaccharide actives and reduce moisturising and film-forming efficacy.
Recommended finished-product pH: 4.5–7.5
Compatibility: Compatible with polyol humectants such as glycerin, propanediol and butylene glycol; nonionic and amphoteric surfactants; and common cosmetic thickeners including carbomers, cellulose derivatives and xanthan gum.

Storage & Shelf Life
Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry and well-ventilated place below 25°C. Protect from direct sunlight and high temperatures. Do not freeze.
Shelf life: 24 months when stored under the recommended conditions.
