Formulation Guidance

Recommended use level 1–10%

Solubility: Slightly soluble in cold water; soluble in hot water, ethanol and propylene glycol.

Recommended formulation pH: 4.5–6.5

Processing: Incorporate dissolved Azelaic Acid during the later stage of formulation at temperatures below 50°C.
- Avoid strongly alkaline formulation conditions above pH 8.
- Formulation partners include Niacinamide, Tranexamic Acid, Panthenol, Allantoin, Hyaluronic Acid, Glycerin.
- Always conduct compatibility and stability testing on the finished formulation.
