Kojic Acid Dipalmitate (KAD) is an oil-soluble derivative of Kojic Acid designed for use in cosmetic formulations where improved oil compatibility and formulation stability are required. It is particularly suited to brightening, tone-evening and pigmentation-focused skincare formulations, including emulsions and anhydrous products.

Key Benefits

  • Oil-soluble brightening active
  • Suitable for pigmentation and uneven-tone formulations
  • More suitable for oil-phase systems than free Kojic Acid
  • Can be used in emulsions, facial oils and other oil-containing formulations
  • Suitable for combining with other brightening actives

Recommended Usage

0.1% to 3.0%, depending on the formulation:

  • Facial Serum / Essence: 0.5% to 2.0%
  • Cream / Lotion: 0.5% to 3.0%

  • Spot Treatment: 1.0% to 3.0%
  • Sunscreen / Day Cream: 0.5% to 2.0%

How to Use
