The appropriate concentration should be determined according to the intended finished product, formulation design and required level of exfoliation. The formulator should assess compatibility, stability, final pH and finished-product safety.
Important
Glycolic Acid powder is a concentrated acidic raw material. The SDS classifies it as causing severe skin burns and eye damage and as harmful if inhaled. Use appropriate personal protective equipment and safe handling procedures when handling the raw powder.
This product is supplied as a cosmetic raw material for formulation purposes. It is not a finished cosmetic product and should not be applied directly to the skin.
Storage
Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture. Keep the container sealed after opening because the material is hygroscopic. Shelf life is 2 years when properly stored.
For external cosmetic formulation use only.
