Germall Plus Liquid Preservative

Germall Plus Liquid Preservative is a cosmetic-grade liquid preservative raw material designed for use in a range of rinse-off and leave-on cosmetic formulations. It is supplied as a clear viscous liquid and is suitable for incorporation into the water phase of cosmetic formulations.

Formulation Guidance

Recommended Use Level: 0.1–0.5% (w/w) of total formulation

Rinse-off Products: 0.1–0.25%

Leave-on Products: 0.2–0.35%

Incorporation: Add into the water phase.

Processing Temperature: Incorporate at or below 50°C.

Formulation pH Range: 3.0–8.0

Important pH Note: Ineffective above pH 8 and not suitable for high-pH soap-base systems.

Always assess compatibility and preservative efficacy within the finished formulation.

Storage

Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry, well-ventilated place away from direct sunlight, high temperatures and moisture. Keep away from strong oxidising and reducing agents, fire and heat sources. Do not freeze.
